Seven bodies, seven Hebrew letters

The seven classical bodies carry fixed letters and faculty glosses from Sefer Yetzirah, Gra version, 4:8–14. Their source associations stay the same as the calculated signs and degrees change.

Uranus, Neptune and Pluto have no assigned letters in this sevenfold source.

How to read these positions

The ten bodies are shown from Earth’s centre in the true ecliptic of date. Tropical signs are twelve equal 30° sectors from the equinox, rather than astronomical constellation boundaries.

Calculations use the locally bundled Astronomy Engine 2.1.19. Choose a Gregorian date from 1800-01-01 through 2400-12-31 and a UTC time to the minute (HH:MM). A stated instant makes the table reproducible; a dated snapshot is not a continuously updated display.

The rate estimates longitude change using one hour before and one hour after the selected instant, expressed in degrees per day. Motion labels describe that estimate. A rate rounded to zero at three decimal places does not locate an exact station event.

Monthly rows use the same selected UTC clock time on every date. A sign or direction may change between rows. The positions and fixed textual associations do not supply a personal interpretation or forecast.

How is this different from a natal chart?

This reference shows a public instant without birth details. Use the natal tool for positions at a birth moment and angles or houses when the inputs permit.

Do the Hebrew letters depend on today’s signs?

No. These are fixed per-body associations in the named Gra passages. Compare the text records to see where another version differs.

Does a monthly row give an exact event time?

No. Each row is a sample at the chosen UTC clock time. Exact sign entries and stations require a separate event search.

Do I need a location?

These geocentric positions use Earth’s centre, so no city is needed. A local horizon, houses or an evening boundary would require additional information.

Is a Hebrew month the calculated Sun sign?

A Hebrew calendar month and a tropical Sun position answer different questions. Follow the calendar and month guides for their named conventions.
